Ron Atomic and Lou LaDuca win Southwest Series Round #4. In Touring car Ron T.Q.ed and pretty much dominated the race after early leader Tommy Porfirio went thru the water section and backed it in the wall breaking his car. Yes, you heard it correctly. A person in the pits draining his ice chest, created a water stream across the track. It not only collected Tommy, but many more.

In 1/8th 4wd Lou. In the main Lou took the lead early. Scotty Barrera starting in the 7th position ran him down about the 5 lap and took the lead. Scotty's engine went rich and pretty much lou had his way. Lou finished first followed by Scotty.
