Joining Team Rocket Science Fuels

Thank you for your interest in obtaining sponsorship from us. We get a high volume of racers inquiring our criteria in selecting team drivers. First, we only take type written resumes by postal mail or equivalent. Faxed or e-mailed sponsorship requests will be filed in the garbage can. We feel that if you are serious about acquiring sponsorship, you need to have a professional resume. All information that you will need for obtaining sponsorship, will be on this page.
What factors we look at:
Do you conduct yourself in a professional manner?
Do you influence sales in your area?
Do you finish in the Top 3 at Regional events or Top 20 at National events?
What is a professional manner? You will not only be representing yourself, but you will be representing Rocket Science Fuels. Please do not take this lightly. We look for drivers who represent themselves professionally, both on and off the track. If you ever attend a national event, take look at Chris Moore or Richard Saxton. These guys are what we expect in a sponsored driver.
Do you influence sales in your area? One of the main reasons we sponsor drivers, is to increase sales. Can you increase sales in your area? Will you answer questions regarding our products in a professionally manner? Are you willing to help other drivers using our products? Will you make a sales call to a dealer in your area? If you are just looking for discounted products, Rocket Science Fuels may not be for you.
Do you finish in the Top 3 at Regional events or Top 20 at National events? We are like most companies, result oriented. You will have a greater chance if you have won a regional or finished in the top ten at a national. Please understand this particular criterion is not solely responsible for our decision. It only enhances your possibility for sponsorship. Are you willing to travel and are you show good sportsmanship? These factors will also be considered
Summary: If you think you meet the criteria above, assemble a resume containing race results, photographs of you and your car, and references. The references should contain names and phone numbers of tracks you race at, hobby shop owners, or other professional drivers that know you.
At Rocket Science Fuels, sponsorships are earned. Obtaining sponsorship from us will be rewarded by a company whose focus is on innovation and technological advances in the industry, with a support program designed for success. |
